Writing female characters, I try and find female friends and acquaintances and try to see if their manner of communication is suitable to be translated on screen.
Failing that, to recommend some characters to see if their voice works inside my head.
Unfortunately, none fits the bill for the latest one. Not yet. The closest is a 40 plus year old man who does voices and pretends to be a supportive female character, during meetings.
I think I'll just go with that. I will imagine the guy with boobs and long hair. Wearing a cheerleading outfit. I have to, man. I got no choice. It's the only thing that works.
So the character is actually a transvestite?
NO!
Oh well, man.
There are some days, when I really do think I deserve more money for this.
